What this is
Clawback Freight provides an invoice checker, written guides, and a free audit report on LTL freight invoices you send us. It is an information service. We are not a law firm, a motor carrier, a broker or a freight forwarder, and nothing here is legal advice.
What you can rely on
Findings are our reading of the documents you provide, measured against the published density scale and general LTL billing practice. Your carrier's tariff, your pricing agreement and the classification rules for your commodity decide what you owe, and we may not have seen them. Check a finding before acting on it. Whether to dispute, pay or withhold is your decision.
We do not guarantee that any dispute will succeed or that any amount will be recovered.
What you agree to
- You have the right to share the documents you upload.
- You will not upload material unrelated to a freight audit, or anything unlawful.
- Deadlines to contest a bill are yours to track. A report arriving after a deadline does not extend it.
Cost
The checker, the guides and the audit report are free. Done-for-you dispute filing is offered by invitation, under a separate written agreement that sets the fee. Submitting an audit request does not commit you to it, and ticking the early-access box does not commit either side.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on a report, including charges you paid or did not pay, late fees, or missed deadlines.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
