The invoice checker
The checker on the home page runs in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us or stored.
Audit requests
When you request an audit we receive what you put in the form (name, company, email, the context you describe) and the files you attach. Freight documents normally contain business names, addresses, contact names, shipment details and prices.
We use this to produce your audit report and to write to you about it. That is all. We do not sell it, share it with carriers or brokers, use it for advertising, or publish it. If we ever want to cite a finding as an example, we will ask first and remove anything identifying.
AI processing
Documents are reviewed with an AI system, Anthropic's Claude. Your files are processed by that service to produce the audit. You agree to this when you tick the consent box on the audit form. If you do not want AI review, do not submit; the guides explain how to run the same checks by hand.
Storage and deletion
Uploads are kept in private cloud storage hosted by Vercel in the United States, and working copies are kept in the operator's access-controlled file storage. We keep audit files for up to 12 months so we can answer questions about a report, then delete them. To have yours deleted sooner, reply to your report email and ask. We will confirm when it is done.
Abuse prevention
To stop the upload form being flooded, we keep a count of recent audit requests against a one-way hash of the sender's IP address. The address itself is not stored.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the site is served by Vercel; both receive your IP address in the ordinary course of delivering pages.
